Good afternoon all!

well I have written just over 2,000 words today which now takes my running total to over 49,000 words!

It feels like I am on an express train with unstoppable momentum at the moment!

If my novel was taking the 8 point story arc route, then I would say that I am somewhere between point 4 and 5 at the moment:

The classic eight-point arc being:

1. Stasis
2. Trigger
3. The quest
4. Surprise
5. Critical choice
6. Climax
7. Reversal
8. Resolution

One of my favourite “how to write” books is Nigel Watts’ Writing A Novel and Getting Published. I bought it ten years ago and it continues to be a useful source of information and inspiration to me.

Well I hope to blog more later.
